Prefix : A prefix is a syllable added to the beginning of a word. To form a new word a prefix is put before a base word. (e.g) mis+take = mistake.
Suffix:  A suffix is a syllable added to the end of a word. It is usally put after a base word to form a new word. (e.g) use + ful = useful.
